He is fascinated by the many layers and complexities of the urban environment and gives us a visual representation defined by contrasting, lively colors on a calm grey background. By choosing to use a classic medium like oil on paper, Giordani also wants to contrast a slow traditional approach against the modern hightech pace of a metropolis.
